West Roxbury Main Streets invites you to join local residents and businesses on Tuesday, April 30 @ 6:30pm to explore the opportunity to form a Walk West Roxbury group.

At this meeting, WalkBoston will present their "Ped 101" overview and lead a discussion about pedestrian advocacy training. The meeting will give participants an overview of the elements of a safe walking environment and help prepare people to speak up for walking in their own community. WalkBoston will also provide examples of similar groups that have been formed to address pedestrian safety issues in other communities and some of the change that has been brought about as a result of this type of advocacy.

The meeting will be held in the community space at Boston Police District E-5 (1708 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132) Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30pm.
